AgeCare Corporate is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator, Legal Operations to strengthen the Legal team's operations in Calgary. You will support contract management, litigation tracking, and document control while liaising with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

The role emphasizes process improvements, policy administration, and agile coordination to meet regulatory and corporate needs. A healthcare background and strong MS Office skills are assets for success in this team.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in legal studies or business administration is required or highly relevant.
  • A legal assistant diploma or related undergraduate degree is an asset.
  • 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in a legal department or similar setting.
  • Experience in healthcare sector is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate legal intake and contract processes, including requests, approvals, renewals, obligations, and records.
  • Support corporate transactions, due diligence, governance activities, and coordination with external counsel.
  • Manage litigation tracking, confidential files, document collection, research, reporting, and legal spend administration.
  • Support policy administration, including templates, inventories, repositories, and review workflows.
  • Coordinate team projects, initiatives, and technology solutions, with process improvements.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation to support legal and business requirements.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and serve as a point of contact for legal requests.
  • Identify issues and opportunities for improvement and support risk, change, quality, and safety practices.

Work Location: AgeCare Corporate OfficeAddress: 19655 Walden Blvd SE Calgary, AB T2X 0N7Employment Type: FT RegularThe OpportunityThe Administrative Services Coordinator, Legal Operations provides administrative and operational support to AgeCare’s Legal team, working closely with the General Counsel & Vice President, Legal and Corporate Services and other legal professionals. This role supports a broad range of corporate and health law matters, including document and contract management, drafting and review, research, project coordination, file and records management, policy support, and responding to information requests from internal and external stakeholders.Working with limited guidance, you will help identify needs, resolve routine issues, and ensure effective and efficient legal operations. This position is a member of the administrative team supporting the Executive and provides back up coverage as needed.
