Job summary

AgeCare Walden Heights in Calgary is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our inter-professional team and deliver patient-centered nursing care to residents.

You will complete assessments, document plans, administer medications, and support moves and transfers, reporting to the Director of Care; CPR is required, and MS Office skills help with documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current provincial registration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in seniors’ health.
• CPR certification current.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Demonstrates leadership, coaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and medications under policies.
• Complete and maintain assessments, care plans and documentation.
• Assist with care conferences and care plan changes.
• Collaborate with Director of Care for move in/out and transfers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards in care.
• Document care accurately in the chart.
