Westmount Dental Centre in Edmonton seeks a Temporary Registered Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team. The role offers full-time hours Monday to Friday with bi-weekly Saturdays, and a contract end date in May 2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments while maintaining patient comfort and smooth workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and aftercare.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care.
• Follow privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

We are currently seeking a Temporary Registered Dental Assistant to join our collaborative team. Your Role:

About You:

• Registered and/orCertified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required

• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
