Job Description
We currently have an opening for an Administrative Assistant in our Kelowna office.
Responsibilities will include:
• Preparing and ensuring the timely delivery of correspondences, proposals, reports, technical memoranda,contract documents, and technical specifications to company standards.
• Prioritizing urgent tasks over less pressing tasks to manage last minute requests and deadlines.
• Assembling and transmitting documents internally and externally to clients in various formats.
• Responsible for the management and confidentiality of records in accordance with departmental andcorporate requirements.
• Updating division member’s resumes and team calendar
• Coordinating meetings, travel, and social gatherings as required.
• General assistance to other Administrative Staff in the office as required.
Job Requirements
• Diploma or undergraduate degree in Office Administration would be an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing administrative support, preferably in an engineering orarchitectural environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Proficient in other desktop publishing software such as Adobe Acrobat.
• Website maintenance and database management skills are an asset.
• Knowledge of CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator are an asset.
• Able to work in a fast-paced office environment.
• Superior organizational and time management skills; strong attention to detail.
• Superior interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
• Strong oral communication and writing skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight.
The salary range for this position is $47,840.00 to $60,320.00, and is commensurate with experience relative to this position.
