Job Description:
Jobresponsibilities
Prepare and analyze regular and ad-hoc reports related to ALM risks (including interest rate, equity, currency, and liquidity risks) ensuring adherence to operating guidelines.
Develop and maintain ALM asset and liability models used for financial projection and analysis
Participate in the analysis of ALM strategies for insurance and surplus funds to drive business performance success
Support local Asset Liability Committee, working group meetings and Crediting Rate Committee with SLHK Leaders & Regional Office
Support diverse ALM initiatives by collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Support new product development, pricing and risk evaluations from ALM perspective
Job Requirements
Degree holder in Actuarial Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering or Finance
2+ years of experience in ALM/Investment/Financial Risk within a life insurance organization is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, preferably with VBA. Experience in AXIS model is a plus.
Knowledge of Actuarial/Financial Risk Management/Investment within an insurance company
Ability to manage multiple priorities and to deliver according to deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Contribute actively as a team player while can work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
