  • Support accounts payable by reviewing, coding, matching, and recording supplier invoices.
  • Verify purchase orders, receiving documentation, applicable taxes, and required approvals.
  • Assist with supplier statement reconciliations, payment preparation, expense reports, and corporate credit card transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile assigned general ledger accounts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, financial reporting, and audit documentation.
  • Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls while identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Develop the knowledge needed to provide broader accounts payable coverage as required.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to analyze and reconcile financial information.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for customer correspondence, payment follow‑ups, and collaboration with internal departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Assets
  • French-language skills for communicating with French-speaking contacts.
  • Experience using SAP or a comparable enterprise accounting system.
  • Experience supporting month‑end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit preparation.
