Parkland is seeking an Accounts Receivable Technician to apply customer payments accurately and reconcile entries with bank statements. The role uses multiple ERP systems and both automated and manual processes to ensure timely posting to customer accounts.

Ideal candidates have post-secondary accounting education and 1–3 years in cash applications or AR. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication are essential, with a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Competenze

• Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration or related field.
• 1–3 years in Cash Applications/Accounts Receivable or related accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Mansioni

• Facilitate processing of payment methods (PADs, EFTs, EDIs, cheques, credit cards) using ERP systems or manual processes.
• Access banking portals for reports, remittance documents and inquiries.
• Process NSF fees, void payments, and re-enter payments as needed.
• Apply cash to customer accounts accurately and promptly; redirect incorrect payments.
• Reconcile payment entries with bank statements and ERP data.
• Investigate payment errors and misapplications; correct as required.
• Compile and review unapplied cash and on-account balances; provide docs as requested.
• Support other departments with payment-related documentation and requests.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and contribute to team goals.
