Job summary

Kontron Canada is seeking an Accounting Clerk to manage and optimize our accounts payable with rigor and impact. You will compile invoices, code entries, reconcile statements, and assist in monthly closings.

The ideal candidate has a college or vocational diploma in administration, 0–2 years of experience, intermediate Excel, and familiarity with SAP. We offer a competitive salary, generous vacation, telemedicine, RRSP, and work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• College or vocational diploma in administration.
• 0 to 2 years experience.
• Intermediate Excel.
• SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable tasks including compiling delivery slips and invoices, verifying quantities and prices, coding and entering invoices, extracting expense reports, reconciling credit card statements, and issuing checks.
• Participate in monthly closings and controls for accounts payable, record accrued expenses, prepare journal entries, track receipts and invoices, and prepare reports.
• Assist the manager in preparing the audit file related to accounts payable.
• Answer incoming calls as needed and perform related tasks.
