Job summary

Myant Inc in Mississauga is seeking an organized Accounts Payable Specialist to support our multi-entity AP activities. You will ensure invoices, payments and related records are processed accurately and on time.

Working with Purchasing and Finance, you will help standardize processes, reconcile vendor statements, and contribute to ERP readiness and AP automation initiatives to scale our finance operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Approximately 2-4 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience.
• Experience processing invoices in a multi-entity environment is preferred.
• Experience with corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Experience with AP automation, ERP implementation or process improvement is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices across multiple legal entities.
• Review invoices for documentation, coding, entity, tax treatment and approvals.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents where applicable.
• Monitor AP inboxes and ensure invoices are captured, tracked and processed without duplication.
• Prepare supplier payment batches for approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
