The Boulevard Club in Toronto is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to own day-to-day AP activities and work with modern accounting systems. You will collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accurate financial records in a dynamic private club setting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment.
• Working knowledge of general accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
• Experience with Beanworks, Jonas, or similar systems is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal departments and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable function ensuring timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
• Operate Beanworks for receiving, coding, approvals, and documentation routing.
• Process invoices and payments through Jonas, ensuring correct GL postings.
• Prepare EFTs and other payment methods for vendors and contractors.
• Maintain vendor/contractor records including banking and tax information.
• Review invoice coding, taxes, payment terms, and GL allocations for accuracy.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
