Job summary

Mind Games, head-quartered in Markham, ON, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team on-site. The role supports day-to-day AP functions, including invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor reconciliations, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of AP experience, a high school diploma (post-secondary preferred), and familiarity with NetSuite and Excel as assets. You will collaborate with store teams and suppliers to ensure accurate, timely payments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in accounts payable or related role.
• High school diploma required; post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing & Three-Way Matching: review and process supplier invoices with PO, receiving records, and invoices.
• Discrepancy Resolution: investigate invoice discrepancies and coordinate with store teams to resolve.
• Payment Application & NetSuite: apply payments and ensure accurate posting to invoices and accounts.
• Utility Billing & PAD: process utility invoices and manage PAD arrangements as needed.
• Vendor Account Reconciliation: assist with reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Accounting reports: prepare reports for the Accounting Manager.
• Team collaboration: work with Accounting Manager, AP Coordinator, and vendors to maintain accuracy.
