SALARY: $55,000 – $60,000 annually

LOCATION: Manning Park Resort, BC (On‑site, staff housing available)

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team and work on‑site at the resort. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role plays an important part in supporting daily accounting operations while contributing to the overall success of a vibrant, multi‑department resort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reconcile daily transactions from POS systems and payment platforms


• Ensure all revenue streams are accurately recorded and balanced


• Perform General Ledger reconciliations using QuickBooks Online


• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month‑end close


• Manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing and follow‑up


• Process Accounts Payable with accurate coding and timely payments


• Perform bank and cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies


• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and tip reports


• Maintain accuracy of accounting records and chart of accounts


• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting procedures

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1 year of accounting experience (hospitality experience an asset)


• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online


• Experience with POS systems such as Silverware, Clover, Paradox, or similar


• Understanding of General Ledger reconciliations


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
