Job summary

Bird Construction is seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance team. The role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and is based in the Winnipeg Office, with emphasis on invoice validation, expense management, and interdepartmental collaboration.

You will review district invoices, audit Concur expense reports, reconcile corporate cards, and process payroll-related payables, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and a service-oriented mindset within Bird’s Shared

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Enrollment in or completion of a post-secondary education in a related field.
• Familiarity with OnBase and/or Viewpoint (TC1) is an asset; strong Excel and financial systems knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit invoices from district offices for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Audit employee expense reports submitted through Concur for correct approvals and coding.
• Process and validate non-Concur expense reports in Viewpoint.
• Reconcile corporate credit cards and manage related discrepancies.
• Enter payroll-related invoices and ensure timely payments per payroll schedules.
• Provide training and support to district AP teams to ensure consistent practices.
