Job summary

Lankin Investments is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Canada. You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relations, setting up payments and supporting month-end duties.

The role requires 2-3 years of AP experience, familiarity with high-volume invoicing, and proficiency in Yardi or similar ERP systems. A strong eye for detail and effective collaboration with internal teams are essential.

Qualifications

• University or College education in business or accounting.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable process.
• Experience processing high volume invoices in fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Yardi or similar ERP Platform.
• Utilities experience (billing, expense management, or utility cost recovery), preferably in multi-family real estate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and process invoices, ensuring deadlines and cut-off procedures are applied.
• Execute semi-monthly cheque run file workflow and process various types of payments including EFTs, Wires, Transfers, Cheques and Bill Payments.
• Manage multiple accounts payable mailboxes to ensure timely response and resolution for all queries.
• Support vendor management process including setup, maintenance and reconciling discrepancies.
• Manage utility accounts, billing, and consumption tracking across the portfolio, including review of invoices, rate changes, and cost recoveries from tenants.
• Assist team with system automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross functional departments for providing support in relation to account payable.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, Lankin Investments is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our fast-paced team, who will be responsible to deliver timely accounts payable duties including processing invoices, managing vendor relations, payments setup and other month end duties as required.
