This is a full-time position. Working Hours : Monday-Friday 9 : 00AM-5 : 00PM (one-hour lunch break). We are seeking a positive, careful and self-motivated team player to join.

Responsibilities

• Verification of general ledger activities & daily balance sheet
• Binding daily vouchers
• Head Office daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
• Regulatory monthly, quarterly and semi-annual reports (e.g. OSFI, StatsCan, etc.)
• Assist to prepare for financial statement and tax returns
• Prepare budget, performance and income tax estimation.
• Accounting daily transaction reconciliation and other Accounting related matters
• Communicate effectively and works well with other departments within the Bank and Head Office in Taiwan.
• Assist loan department to perform financial analysis and risk assessment where applicable.
• Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience in the banking sector.
• Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in bank reconciliation and high-volume financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality in handling financial data.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is a plus.
