Job summary

Medline Canada in Mississauga is seeking an Accounting Manager on a 1-year contract to oversee core accounting operations and drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close. This role leads the intercompany accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls while coordinating ERP transformation initiatives and data migrations.

You will partner with Finance, IT, Operations and FP&A to continually improve processes, automate where possible, and develop a high-performing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or similar ERP systems; strong internal controls.

Responsibilities

This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies and standards. The Accounting Manager also serves as a key Finance project lead, supporting ERP implementations and migrations, process improvements, automation, and other finance transformation initiatives.
