Job summary

Medline Canada in Mississauga is seeking an Accounting Manager on a 1-year contract to oversee core accounting operations and drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close. This role leads the intercompany accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls while coordinating ERP transformation initiatives and data migrations.

You will partner with Finance, IT, Operations and FP&A to continually improve processes, automate where possible, and develop a high-performing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or similar ERP systems; strong internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Oversee journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounting, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Lead ERP projects, system implementations, migrations, and process automation.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and provide supporting schedules.
• Drive process improvements and partner with FP&A, IT, Operations and other functions.
