Our client is seeking two proactive, solutions-oriented Managers, Accounting to join a large and complex finance organization. These roles are ideal for accounting professionals who bring strong technical judgment, an ownership mindset, and the ability to lead teams through complexity with clarity and momentum. Reporting to senior accounting leadership, each Manager will oversee a small team of accounting professionals and help deliver accurate, decision-ready financial information across a diverse portfolio of entities. The successful candidates will combine strong technical accounting knowledge with hands‑on leadership, continuous improvement, and the confidence to challenge existing processes and drive meaningful change.
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of progressive accounting experience within a large, complex, multi‑entity, or publicly traded environment. They hold a Canadian CPA designation or are nearing completion of their final CPA experience requirements and have developed strong technical accounting expertise across IFRS, U.S. GAAP, financial close, internal controls, and SOX/ICFR. Candidates may come from corporate accounting environments or public accounting firms, with Big 4 or large national‑firm experience considered highly valuable. Current Managers within public practice, as well as strong Senior Accountants or Senior Managers who are ready to step into formal people leadership, may be particularly well suited to this opportunity. The successful candidate will also bring at least two years of leadership, supervisory, or significant coaching experience and be comfortable managing a small team while remaining close to the technical accounting work.
