In-Store Water Systems Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead finance operations in Canada. You will oversee the general ledger, AR/AP, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

You will drive month-end close, coordinate with external auditors, mentor accounting staff, and collaborate with leadership on budgeting and forecasting to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.
• CPA designation or equivalent certification is a requirement and will be considered a strong asset.
• Experience with Aptora or similar accounting software.

Job description

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for financial statements, journal entries, asset management, and overseeing the accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare and review financial statements (on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis)
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes and reports accordingly
• Partners and coordinates with external auditors and support audit activities
• Supervise and mentor accounting employees
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Skills

• Possess 3-5 years’ prior similar accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, Excel and Word and other tools used to analyze large volumes of data
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
