Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager who can run the accounting department solo, reporting to the CEO. Responsibilities:

1. Drive Financial Accuracy: Prepare and analyze operational and sales performance reports, offering insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
2. Lead Compliance Efforts: Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies across all finance functions.
3. Streamline Accounts Receivable: Oversee invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations to maintain healthy cash flow and accurate records.
4. Oversee Sales Orders: Manage the end-to-end sales order process, collaborating with sales and customer service to ensure efficiency and resolve discrepancies.
5. Control Expenses: Supervise employee expense reporting, reviewing submissions for accuracy and policy compliance before approval.
6. Manage Accounts Payable: Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and maintaining vendor relationships.
7. Collaborate Cross-Border: Partner with the parent company’s finance team to meet month-end close deadlines and respond to information requests.

Qualifications:

• CPA qualification is an asset
• Approximately 7 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of inventory and hardware processes
• Proven track record of long-term role retention
