InterAtlas Chemical — St. Catharines, Ontario

InterAtlas is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Staff Accountant and Controller, in this role you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing invoices for our Chemical Division.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE :

  • Receive vendor invoices, match to supporting documents and enter into Quickbooks for payment
  • Review sales order closing reports, match to supporting documents and enter into Quickbooks for issuance to customers
  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems
  • Support other accounting and finance team members with additional financial projects or tasks, as required

QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US :

  • Some experience in a bookkeeping or similar role
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Solid Excel knowledge and experience
  • Some relevant post-secondary education

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS TO SUCCEED :

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flawless communication skills and ability to work with others
  • Ability to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Understand and maintain high level standards of confidentiality and use of discretion
