Position Summary

Work within a team and contribute to the accounting cycle by performing specific facets related to invoicing and general accounting duties. Core responsibilities will encompass the accurate entry of financial data into our specialized transportation accounting software, rigorous reconciliation of financial records, and crucial support in managing accounts.

Schedule : Mon-Fri, 9 : 00 - 5 : 00

What you will do

• Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor invoices.
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Payroll : Reconciling timecards to in-house system, reviewing and approving.

What You’ll Bring

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• College diploma; or trade apprenticeship certification.
• A College Diploma in Business Administration / Accounting is an asset.

Along with the following Skills & Competencies :

• Proficient in MS Excel and Word is required.
• Logistics, supply chain and transportation industry experience is an asset.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal business communication skills.
