Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in the Greater Toronto Area seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes under US GAAP. You will prepare financial statements and support audits, partnering with FP&A, tax, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–6+ years of accounting experience, ERP expertise (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics), and advanced Excel. CPA preferred. This role is based on-site in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Typically 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GL accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel; BI or reporting tools are an asset.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities
