Job summary

MNP is hiring an Accountant in Windsor, Ontario to join our Assurance & Accounting team. You will develop technical skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax while applying IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE knowledge.

You will set up new client files, manage multiple engagements and prepare financial statements for clients. The role emphasizes client service, collaboration with engagement teams and ongoing professional development in a dynamic, growth-focused Canadian firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred).
• Pursuing CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) prerequisites upon employment start.
• Experience in accounting or related office roles is an asset.
• Customer service or client service experience is an asset.
• Experience with accounting and tax software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax.
• Learn IFRS, GAAP and ASPE principles.
• Set up client files and manage multiple engagements.
• Perform AR/AP, payroll walkthroughs with clients.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
