Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an Account Strategist to own paid media for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You’ll define targeting, optimize budgets, and articulate the narrative behind performance on client calls.

You will serve as the strategic voice, leading campaign decisions and roadmap reviews, with a focus on ROAS and long-term client success in a remote, Canada-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta campaigns.
• Track record of ROAS/CPA/pipeline improvements.
• Agency experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
• Excellent spoken English for live client calls.

Responsibilities

• Manage paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for assigned accounts.
• Handle budget allocation, bidding, targeting, and creative testing; know when to pause or kill a campaign.
• Set up and trust conversion tracking: GA4, Tag Manager and platform pixels.
• Develop 90-day and quarterly roadmaps for each client and explain numbers on calls.
• Drive account growth through retention, upsell, and long-term relationships.

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As Account Strategist you own paid media for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients: the targeting, the budget calls, the roadmap and the narrative when the client asks why. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.


• Budget allocation, bidding, targeting and creative testing, and when to kill a campaign.


• Conversion tracking and attribution you can trust: GA4, tag manager and platform pixels.


• The 90 day and quarterly roadmap for each client, and the story behind the numbers on the call.


• Account growth: retention, upsell and the long-term relationship.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta: you have built, run and optimized the campaigns yourself.


• A record of moving ROAS, CPA or pipeline numbers you can walk us through.


• Agency experience across several clients at once.
