Job summary

DesjardinsAgent Team Member is seeking an Insurance Account Representative who is outgoing and customer-focused. You will develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services for Desjardins independent contractor agents.

Your role includes providing prompt, accurate customer service on inquiries about insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims and billing, and working with the agent to meet marketing goals.

Qualifications

• Sales experience aligned with insurance products preferred.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals/quotas.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements:

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Proactive in problem-solving
• Dedicated to customer service

• Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain)
