Job summary

Desjardins Agent is seeking an Insurance Account Representative to join the Desjardins independent contractor network in Ontario. The role focuses on customer-focused service, lead development, and presenting insurance products to potential clients.

You will work to identify client needs, schedule meetings, and support marketing goals while ensuring accurate service and timely responses to inquiries and policy changes.

• Sales experience preferred and track record of meeting sales goals/quotas.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements:

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
