Our client is seeking an Account Processing Officer to join their team in Halifax, NS. Job Title: Account Processing Officer

Pay Range: $23.25

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Process credit card requests related to credit balance refunds, payment reversals, rejected transactions, and exception issues.
• Review and process credit card request files while applying the appropriate rules and regulations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Research and investigate administrative requests, ensuring each transaction is handled correctly and documented appropriately.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to support high-quality client service and continuous improvement.
• Support process streamlining and, when needed, provide guidance to more junior staff.

• Accuracy & attention to detail to ensure transactions are processed correctly.
• Multi-tasking and strong organization to manage multiple request types efficiently.
• Microsoft Office (intermediate) skills to support daily work and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism and service focus.
• Comfort working with rules-based processes and investigating exceptions to reach accurate outcomes.
