Job summary

Barricades and Signs, a division of Universal Group, is seeking an Account Manager to drive outside sales and new business in Western and Central Canada. You will manage existing accounts and pursue new opportunities, delivering product quotes and coordinating deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of customer service or sales experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good time management with ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of road construction and/or traffic control industry is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of SAP / HubSpot is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business accounts in your specified territory.
• Make sales calls and present demonstrations of products.
• Follow-up on leads and close new opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service by phone, e-mail and in-person.
• Provide accurate quotes for sales and rentals.
• Process and capture sales and rentals in SAP / HubSpot.
• Arrange deliveries for product sales and rentals.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars and marketing events.
• Interpret tender documentation for accurate project quoting.
• Perform cold calls in the field and over the phone for sales as needed.
• Maintain weekly travel plans on a rotational calendar.
