Job description

CommScope Building & Campus Infrastructure conducts business via an indirect channel model while also focusing directly on the end user customer to drive demand. It is the Account Manager who is responsible for managing and growing CommScope revenue in their assigned territory. The Account Manager works within the Country Organization while acting as a unified team to ensure territory revenue goals are exceeded and the channel partner programs are supported. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the Toronto area.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Work as a collaborative team member to exceed assigned territory revenue goals.
  • Create and execute a yearly territory plan.
  • Execute global/regional end user and channel strategy.
  • Establish and maintain strong and trusted relationships with end user customers and channel partners.
  • Utilize CommScope’s Sales Process in targeting and winning opportunities.
  • Use Dynamics 365 (CRM) to manage opportunities and leads with end users and channel partners.
  • Drive the total solution portfolio into the end user community.
  • Work with marketing and channel management teams to grow awareness and demand for CommScope’s offerings within the channel and end user communities.
  • Support channel partners in targeting and acquiring new customers.
  • Ensure existing channels can support the total solution portfolio and strategies; recruit and develop new channels where needed.
  • Review channel success and progress monthly or quarterly using business plans.
  • Execute global/regional alliance, integrator, and consultant strategies.

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of indirect channel management and end user sales experience.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Travel required – expectation of 50% travel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be proactive, motivated, and organized.
  • Ability to articulate the overall value propositions of CommScope and its solutions.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
