Job summary

Dixon Electric in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a Technical Outside Sales professional with a strong background in Electrical, Automation and Control Products. You will drive business with industrial accounts, panel builders and OEMs, acting as a solutions provider and building relationships with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 or 3 year technical college diploma/degree or equivalent in experience.
  • Experience in selling Electrical, Automation and Control Products for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics considered an asset.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Successful Sales Strategies and Selling Techniques.
  • Must be a leader, self-starter and proactive in nature.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Technical Support teams and establish good relationships with our vendors to provide the best service and solutions.
