Job summary

Sonepar Canada, Inc. is hiring for a warehouse/customer service role at our Timmins area location. You will provide support to contractor customers at the counter, by phone or email to satisfy product and material needs, and assist the sales team with orders.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in the electrical industry, works accurately in a fast-paced environment, can lift up to 50lbs, and is willing to be forklift trained. We offer benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in the electrical industry or equivalent knowledge.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional phone manner.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum one year of warehouse experience.
• Must be willing to be forklift trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to contractor customers at the counter, by phone or email to satisfy product/material needs.
• Handle customer service requests including order picking, order entry, pricing, order maintenance, etc.
• Assist and support the sales team with customer orders and requests.
• Handle product-related problems, such as defective products and returns.
• Maintain stock/product levels in the counter area.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by management.

Major Responsibilities:

Provide support to contractor customers at the counter, by phone or email to satisfy product/material needs

Responsible for handling customer service requests which include order picking, order entry, pricing, order maintenance etc.

Assist and support sales team with customer orders and requests

Handle product-related problems, such as defective products and returns

Maintain stock/product levels in the counter area

• Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-4 years experience working in the electrical industry or equivalent knowledge
