Job Description

This role is based in Western Canada, working remotely, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, as part of the Life Sciences Research Sales team.

Responsibilities
  1. Account Management: Develop strategies to increase sales and market share, recommending product, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  2. Funnel Generation: Identify opportunities, focusing on lead generation in confocal and widefield portfolios, leading team efforts.
  3. Customer Satisfaction: Partner effectively with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  4. Funnel Management: Manage pipeline from opportunity to closing using Salesforce and visual management tools.
  5. Technical Capabilities: Collaborate with customers to generate data and publications highlighting product benefits.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related scientific field
  2. 2+ years of successful technical product sales, preferably in capital equipment
  3. Core understanding of Microscopy / Imaging / Application
  4. Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication skills
  5. Knowledge of the specific work area (Commercial, Government, University, etc.)
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel 70-80%, including overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
