Position Overview

Sealed Air is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our Canadian Sales team, focusing on Alberta, with a strong concentration around Calgary. In this role, you will manage and grow a mix of existing and new customer accounts by delivering high-performance, value-added packaging solutions. You will lead strategic initiatives, coordinate with a dedicated support team, and travel throughout the territory to build strong, solution-based partnerships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with a proven sales track record and a passion for driving customer success. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director for Canada, the ideal candidate will be skilled in selling new products, applications, and value-added services in Alberta to both existing and new customers. You must be capable of identifying, executing, and quantifying value actions and projects to ensure success for both the customer base and Sealed Air.

Responsibilities
  1. Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
  2. Coordinate efforts of the sales support team within the territory.
  3. Travel to customer accounts, with occasional overnight stays, working from home when not traveling.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in selling high-performance, value-added products.
  • Experience in packaging and/or fresh food packaging is preferred.
  • Proven success in progressive sales roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (oral, written, computer).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, CRM, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Ability to negotiate customer contracts for major accounts.
  • Experience with packaged perishable protein products and/or vacuum/sealing packaging equipment is a plus.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license.
