Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an Account Growth Manager to own an established book of recurring agency clients in a fully remote capacity across USA and Canada. You will retain, grow, and renew accounts while driving expansions, collaborating with strategists and delivery teams to present a single, unified client voice.

You will manage a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells, with base salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising
• Proven track record of retaining clients and selling more work with measurable results
• Comfort carrying a quota and meeting targets
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Retain clients across your book, manage renewals and provide early warning if accounts drift
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within each client and close new work
• Maintain a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells

About The Role

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
