Hologic is seeking an Account Executive (AE) responsible for achieving / exceeding quota in a geographically defined territory for the BSHS Division. The AE will drive territory growth by defining business plans and selling across the portfolio of new and existing products and services. This role will also build strong relationships with team members and customers, working to uncover and create needs with Hologic’s unique value proposition. Success in this role requires a customer-focused approach, a sense of urgency, and the ability to navigate complex and competitive customer opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical territory sales plans, including business reviews, education, and event plans.
- Provide and achieve sales forecast objectives for all products, including capital equipment and disposables for the Breast Screening and Diagnostic product lines.
- Present and sell Hologic’s value proposition to multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer contacts and decision-makers.
- Share market feedback related to the competitive landscape, customer trends, and products.
- Manage sales funnel, analyze activity, and provide accurate forecasts.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records of all account activity.
- Leverage internal resources across Sales, Clinical, Technical, Marketing, and Service teams to enhance customer experience.
- Build a customer-centric team by understanding and creating customer needs.
- Hold self-accountable and fulfill commitments.
- Utilize CRM tools to document sales activities, manage accounts, and maintain records.
- Provide feedback on product performance, competition, marketing practices, and customer satisfaction; submit reports on territory operation, product acceptance, and competitive activity.
- Attend all corporate training, sales meetings, conventions, and in-field development courses.
Qualifications
- Proven top performer with a track record of revenue growth in previous roles.
- Sense of urgency and a proactive, winning attitude.
- Experience achieving results in complex, healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and procurement processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic skills.
- Experience navigating complex customer opportunities and RFPs / tenders.
- Proven negotiation skills in capital, device, and disposable sales cycles.
- High business and financial acumen.
- Strong listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Education & Experience
- B.A. / B.S. from an accredited university or college in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- At least 5 years of successful sales experience in Diagnostic Imaging or a healthcare-related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred).
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and a serviceable vehicle for work.
- Willingness to travel overnight (2-3 times / week) within the territory.
