Job summary

Pattison Media Vancouver Island is seeking an Account Executive to drive local advertising growth by selling radio and digital platforms to small and mid-sized businesses on Vancouver Island.

You will build strategic presentations, secure meetings, and deliver results while representing 102.3 The Wave, 106.9 The Wolf, 88.5 The Beach, The Lounge 99.9, Nanaimo News Now and Nimble. A team-focused culture values collaboration, accountability, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling radio and digital platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communicator (oral & written).
• Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Increase the volume of sales by securing meetings and creating strategic presentations for advertising solutions across our platforms.
• Create and deliver professional, customized presentations addressing client needs and delivering results.
• Achieve quarterly and yearly quotas as set by management.
• Initiate first contact with potential new clients through cold calling and onsite visits.
• Participate in team meetings and community B2B events to grow network and opportunities.
• Be part of a collaborative, performance-driven culture and contribute to team success.

• Are you a sales professional with at least 2-3 years of experience in a business-to-business environment?
• Do you have a passion for helping clients achieve their goals through consultation and strategy development?

What you’ll do:

• Increase the volume of sales constantly by securing meetings and building strategic presentations that include advertising solutions utilizing our platforms.

• Achieve quarterly and yearly quotas as set by management.
• Initiate first contact with potential new clients through cold calling, onsite visits, etc.
• Demonstrate keen sense of recognizing opportunities to maximize potential.
• Participate positively and actively in all sales meetings, internal meetings, and internal and external team building events.
• Be involved in community B2B organizations and attend various functions, galas, and conferences to continually develop your network and business opportunities.
