Job summary

Pattison Media Vancouver Island is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our sales team in Nanaimo. You will represent radio and digital platforms, build strategic presentations, and secure meetings with local businesses.

You’ll drive quarterly and annual quotas, start conversations with prospects, and develop campaigns that meet client goals while contributing to a collaborative, community-minded culture.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling radio and digital platforms is an asset.
• Collaborator with a team-first mindset.
• Strong listening, questioning, and negotiating skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales volume by securing meetings and building strategic presentations with advertising solutions.
• Create customized presentations addressing client needs and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Achieve quarterly and yearly quotas as set by management.
• Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls and onsite visits.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and client value.
• Participate in sales meetings and team events.
• Engage with community B2B organizations to grow networking and opportunities.
• Contribute to a collaborative, results-driven team culture.

Pattison Media Vancouver Island is looking for an experienced Account Executive to add to our team!

• Are you a sales professional with at least 2-3 years of experience in a business-to-business environment?
• Do you have a passion for helping clients achieve their goals through consultation and strategy development?

What you’ll do:

• Increase the volume of sales constantly by securing meetings and building strategic presentations that include advertising solutions utilizing our platforms.
• Create and deliver professional, customized presentations that speak directly to client needs and deliver results with prompt follow-up.
• Achieve quarterly and yearly quotas as set by management.
• Initiate first contact with potential new clients through cold calling, onsite visits, etc.
• Demonstrate keen sense of recognizing opportunities to maximize potential.
• Participate positively and actively in all sales meetings, internal meetings, and internal and external team building events.
• Be involved in community B2B organizations and attend various functions, galas, and conferences to continually develop your network and business opportunities.
