A fundraising agency is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead client accounts and drive fundraising growth. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and team leadership. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector, and strong communication and project management skills. Reporting to the Vice President, Client Experience and Consulting, the Account Director will provide client account strategy and growth plan, overall client account direction, and client relationship leadership. They will consult with the client and ensure Blue North is providing the client with annual plan, quarterly plan and ongoing strategic recommendations to help drive fundraising growth and meet client’s needs and preferences. The Account Director will own the client Blue North revenue goal and forecast, grow existing client business, provide leadership to Blue North account team to drive client profitability, and ensure collaboration, positive teamwork is taking place. They will also directly manage and lead Account Executives to provide the client with exceptional customer service and long-term strategic value. The Account Director will build new client possibilities, support Blue North’s new business development process in attracting and responding to RFP requests from prospects, and share Blue North’s expertise, knowledge and capabilities with prospective new clients.
