Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Dartmouth, NS is seeking an Account Development Manager to grow our customer base in the Dartmouth territory. You will visit customer locations and partner with store teams to deliver tailored paint solutions.

This role emphasizes field sales, territory planning, and using ClientLink CRM to track activity. You must have 2+ years of sales experience and a valid driver's license; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or stores operations experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and live/work within the territory.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship needed).

Responsibilities

• Service existing customer accounts in the territory and grow purchases.
• Maintain regular contact and develop account planning strategy.
• Provide product recommendations, application and color guidance.
• Use ClientLink CRM to manage accounts and run reports.
• Partner with store managers to meet customer needs.
• Provide timely quotations to meet margin targets according to PPC pricing.
• Analyze territory performance and develop business plans.

Job description

As an Account Development Manager, you will maintain an existing customer base with a large focus on new account development for the Dartmouth, NSterritory. You will call on customers within the territory. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Service existing customer accounts assigned to specified territory and grow their purchases.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and develop account planning strategy to cultivate sales of customers with most growth potential.
• Facilitate product recommendations, application and performance and colour in response to customer needs.
• Utilize CRM sales tool (ClientLink) to manage accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
• Partner with store managers and other store employees to ensure customers’ needs are met or exceeded.
• Facilitate timely and accurate customer quotations to achieve margin targets according to Dulux (PPC) pricing strategies.
• Analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; with 2+ years of sales and/or stores operations experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license. You must live and work within the territory.

You will not have the capacity to be remote as you will visit customer locations throughout the week.
