The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a skilled Absence & Disability Program Specialist to oversee occupational and non-occupational injury case management across the territory.

You will collaborate with HRBPs, ministry units and third-party providers, manage records in case management software, advise on policies and support return‑to‑work planning, wellness initiatives and program development.

Formación

• University degree in Health & Safety (or related field).
• 3–5 years of related experience, including consulting in a relevant area.
• Bilingual French and English preferred for service delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate case management of illness/injury claims with third‑party providers.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, ministry units, and HR Service Centre to ensure compliance and return‑to‑work planning.
• Utilize case management software to track absences and maintain records.
• Advise on disability policies, sick leave procedures, WCB/WCA provisions and disputes.
• Support wellness programs and assist with policy/program development.
