Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Healthy Workplace, Absence Partner Specialist (Temporary) based in Canada to support occupational and non-occupational illness and injury management for a distributed workforce. You will coordinate absence claims, maintain records, and work with HR, ministry units, and external providers to ensure compliant case management and timely return-to-work planning.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, employee well-being, and collaboration across HR teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in Health and Safety, Disability Management, Absence Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of disability and absence management practices and workers’ compensation processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate absence-related claims with third-party providers.
• Maintain accurate case records and reporting.
• Support return-to-work planning and policy guidance.
• Assist with policy development, training, and workplace wellness initiatives.
• Prepare quarterly absence reports and operational documentation.
• Promote disability management processes and EFAP resources.
