Job summary

Farm Credit Canada is seeking a Senior Disability Consultant to serve as the internal expert on disability management. You’ll lead disability and accommodation cases from intake through return-to-work planning, coordinating with employees, managers, HR partners, insurers and third‑party administrators.

You’ll apply privacy rules and interpret functional limitations to craft tailored plans, train teams, strengthen absence support and drive program improvements.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in disability management, return-to-work planning or a related rehabilitation role.
• Experience applying Canadian employment, human rights and privacy legislation to disability accommodation and return-to-work cases.
• Experience coordinating with third-party administrators, long-term disability insurers and employee assistance programs.
• Experience interpreting functional limitations and developing accommodation/return-to-work plans.
• Proficiency in both official languages (English and French).

Responsibilities

• Lead disability and accommodation cases from intake through ongoing return-to-work planning.
• Interpret functional abilities and medical restrictions to develop tailored accommodation plans.
• Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements to support service delivery.
• Design and lead absence support programs with tools and training for managers and employees.
• Analyze disability and absence trends and recommend program improvements.
