Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a qualified individual to maintain and repair equipment in Ottawa. The role involves making field service calls and working on-call during winter operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with construction and paving equipment, possess a 421A certification, and have a valid driver's license. We offer a competitive salary range between $38.87 - $48.83 per hour depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, paving & aggregates equipment is needed.
• 421A Certification is required.
• Must have own tools.
• Mobile field service experience is an asset.
• Willing to work on equipment, trucks, and small engines as required.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required.
• Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems required.
• Comfortable using a computer and other electronic resources.
• Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the role involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.

Primary Scope Of Role

• Make field service calls to repair.
• Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain construction, aggregate and asphalt equipment on site and within the shop.

Position Requirements

• Experience in construction, paving & aggregates equipment is needed.
• 421A Certification.

What We Offer

• Expected Base Salary: $38.87 - $48.83 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
