Job summary

GIP Construction & Materials is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and service construction, aggregate and asphalt equipment. You will report to the Shop Supervisor and work in the maintenance and repair shop as well as on-site when needed.

The role requires experience with heavy equipment, 421A certification, and being able to use your own tools. Strong communication and prioritization skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction, paving & aggregates equipment.
• 421A Certification is required.
• Must have own tools and be comfortable with field service.
• Mobile field service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make field service calls to repair equipment.
• Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain equipment on site and in shop.
