Zusammenfassung

Emcon Services Inc. is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as a 310T Certified Technician at our Atikokan shop, servicing our fleet in Thunder Bay W, Ontario division.

Duties include annual safety inspections, performing repairs and following our preventative maintenance program on trucks, trailers and equipment, with assignments from the leadhand or Mechanical Superintendent. Apprentices welcome; on-call overtime may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T) mandatory.
• 310J license considered an asset.
• 3rd year apprentices welcome for developmental program.
• Registered for DriveOn portal.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience in engine/electrical diagnostics and repair.
• Heavy truck hydraulics, brakes, suspension, steering experience.
• Familiar with Bosch Rexroth salt management system.
• Fabrication and welding experience is an asset.
• Safety-focused with worksite safety knowledge.
• Experience on heavy-duty equipment such as gravel and snow-plow trucks, loaders, etc.
• Capable of overtime and on-call breakdown attendance.

We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as 310T Certified Technician for our Thunder Bay W, Ontario division working out of our Atikokan Shop.We welcome and encourage applications from 310J Truck–Trailer Service Technicians, as well as 3rd year apprentices, as we have apprenticeship developmental programs in place.

This position is responsible for conducting annual safety inspections, performing repairs and following our preventative maintenance program on our current fleet of trucks, trailers and equipment. Duties assigned by leadhand/Mechanical Superintendent.

• Experience on industry related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, snow-plow trucks, winter maintenance attachments, loaders, grader, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc.
• Capable of working overtime as required
• Capable of performing call out to attend vehicle breakdown

Pay Rate: Based on experience up to a maximum of $40 hourly
