Job summary

SurveyMonkey is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Chatham, Ontario. This regular part-time position supports acute patient care, triage, and escalating care as needed within a busy ED setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Ontario RN registration with 3+ years ER experience, plus BCLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS/ENPC certifications. IV access skills and delegated acts in Emergency Nursing are essential; strong teaching and communication abilities are expected.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BScN preferred and valid BCLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS/ENPC certifications.
• Minimum 3 years Emergency experience with triage skills (CTAS).
• IV certification and delegated medical acts in Emergency Nursing.
• Cardiac Critical Care Course module completed in last five years.
• Strong health teaching abilities across adult and pediatric patients.
• Non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention Training.
• Excellent problem solving, communication and critical thinking.
