Job summary

Brightshores is seeking a part-time, temporary Registered Nurse in Owen Sound to cover an emergency department assignment. The RN will manage care for critically ill adults and all ages, using evidence-based practice and strong leadership during high-stress situations.

Requirements include Ontario RN registration or eligibility, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and 12–24 months ER/CC experience. The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration, and staff mentorship.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required with Ontario licensure or eligibility.

• Demonstrates Emergency Nursing Process in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

WAGE RATE: $41.15 - $58.98

Reporting to the Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care of, and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means to critically ill adults, children and infants, in order to attain or maintain optimal function.
