• -Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• -BScN preferred.
• -BCLS certification.
• -Current ACLS
• -Current Certification in Venipuncture, arterial lines, care of the ventilated patient, Delegated Controlled Acts.
• -2 years recent Level 111 critical care experience within the past 3 years.
• -CNA certification in critical care preferred
• -Demonstrated problem solving skills/critical thinking skills.
• -Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• -Knowledge of resource utilization initiatives
• -Current working knowledge of CCIS
• -Successful completion of the cardiac module of a recognized college/university critical care diploma course
