Job summary

Tree Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary regular part-time role in the PACU, located in Southwestern Ontario. The position runs ASAP to November 1, 2027, with possibility of extension. Open to employees of the ONA bargaining unit.

Applicants must hold a current RN license with CNO, BCLS and ACLS, plus relevant PACU and surgical experience. BScN preferred; strong airway, pain management and safety skills are required. RNAO membership is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BScN preferred.
• Current BCLS Certification.
• Cardiovascular Module Certificate of Critical Care Nursing Program (within past 5 years).
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current Certification in Delegated Medical Acts - Recognition and Treatment of arrhythmias, life saving drugs, application of energy.
• Minimum three (3) years current PACU experience (within past 3 years).
• Minimum one (1) year current surgical experience (within past 5 years) preferred.
• Advanced competency in epidural pain management, central and arterial lines.
• Acute Pain Management.
• Physical assessment skills.
• Airway management skills.
• Procedural Sedation Certification within 6 months of hiring.
